On Wednesday Arleigh Elizabeth finally arrived! Tuesday I was having painless contractions every 15 minutes and we thought it was kinda odd how consistantly I was having them and so my mom decided to come down and be with us for Tuesday night. Wednesday morning I started realy contractions at 5 in the morning and they went on for a few hours. I had Dr appointment Wednesday morning and by the time I got to the Dr. the contractions had stopped. The Dr. told me I was dilated to a 5 and that I should go walk around for an hour and then check myself into the hospital. We walked around for about an hour started having really serious contractions and so we went to the hospital around noon. We got into a room, got hooked up to an epidural (thank goodness), and at 2 the Dr. came in and said your at about a 9 we'll have a baby in a half hour to an hour. And at 2:30 after about 10 minutes of pushing we had Arleigh Elizabeth, 7 lbs 14 oz, 20.5 inches.
I'm sorry to say that we forgot the camera in the car so we don't have any pictures of Arleigh right after she was born. But we did get some good hospital pictures.
Here's a close up of Arleigh's face. She looks so much like Zoe did.
I guess having a baby is just hard work. Don't worry he didn't kick me out of bed, I willingly gave it up.
Here's another hospital picture.
Here's Zoe holding her new baby sister. Zoe doesn't look so thrilled, and I look terrible, but we do have a some better pictures of Zoe and Arleigh. We just have to down load them.
Zoe is surprisingly doing really well. She is very interested in Arleigh. She gets very upset if we don't let her hold Arleigh when she wants. She is very helpful, she has helped hold Arleigh's bottle and has even helped burp her. She's very funny, she will cry if Ben's holding Arleigh and if my mom is holding her, but she doesn't seem to care if I hold Arleigh. Which I guess will be a good thing when I'm the only one here taking care of the girls.

So happy she is here!! 10 min... no fair! :) Can't wait to get to meet her one day and Zoe looks so grown up!
What a cutie! babies are so fun. Enjoy her.
Congratulations! That is amazing our kids were born on the exact same day! I guess we were meant to be friends! It sounds like your labor and delivery was way better than mine and I am thankful for that. I guess our little ones will have to be friends forever now!
