The day after Christmas we headed to Ben's parents house for 2nd Christmas. It was very nice to get out of the cold for awhile and go somewhere warm.

New Tooth
My Arleigh Barley has a new tooth. This is nothing exciting since she is now one and should be getting lots more teeth. But the interesting thing is that she has only had two teeth on the bottom for about 4 months. She has been really cranky and cross and not sleeping well for awhile so I assumed new teeth since she has no other signs of sickness. So every day I would check her upper gums for any sort of sign of teeth. Nothing. And then today she's screaming her head off and I see it, there on the bottom right next to her existing tooth. A new little tooth popping through where I did not expect it. No wonder I haven't felt swollen gums or anything. I was looking in the wrong spot! Now she just needs to start working on some upper teeth so that she can actually start chewing food and not just gumming it to death.

We Have Pictures again!
We have pictures again! Well at least a few which is better than none. We downloaded our camera onto the new computer and I did not realize we had pictures back to Christmas on it. So I can start putting pictures on here.

1 year old
So I'm a little behind, but my baby turned 1 year old on Thursday! And I still don't have pictures but I thought might make a short list of her accomplishments
* She is an amazing crawler
* She is standing on her own, and thinks she's incredibly funny when she does
* She loves to feed her self, to the point that I can't feed her anything at all, if she can't feed it to herself she won't eat it
* She is now 22 lbs and 30 inches
* She says Dada mama nana and da (dog)
* She is now off the bottle
* She gets to ride facing forward in the car
* She can wave, and clap
* And she's the most adorable thing ever with the most contagious smile.
If I had pictures I'd show you. But you will have to wait in suspense until I down load her birthday pictures off the camera. Here's a few things you have to look forward to, riding forward in the car, opening presents, and crying her head off when we gave her ice cream.
