Zoe's favorite position is to be up on your shoulder so that she can look at the world. And if you hold her there long enough...she goes to sleep. My favorite is right after she has eaten and I'm trying to burp her and she just curles up and cuddles right up into my shoulder and my neck. It's the most wonderful feeling to hold her when she's not crying and not asleep and she just wants to be held.

Zoe really enjoys her little play mat thing. There's some butterflies that she stares at and trys to talk to. She getting really close to cooing. She puckers up her lips and tries really hard to coo, but she's not quite there yet. She's also starting to smile. She has a really sweet smile, especially right before she falls asleep.

Sometimes the only way she will stay asleep is if she is laying in her boppy. I hope she doesn't feel that way for ever. Some day she will have to take her naps in her own room and not the living room floor.

Some mornings Daddy gets tired of trying to get Zoe to go back to sleep and so he brings her into bed with me. She goes to sleep the easiest on our bed. Also a habit I don't want to encourage.

So I'm a little behind on my blog lately. But we haven't been so good about putting our pictures on our computer and yada-yada yada. So any way, here's a few pictures of my family from when they visited at the beginning of June for Zoe's blessing.

Here's my Brother, my Mom, and my Dad. They look really excited. Poor Josh had to sleep on our couch. I think it was kind of comfortable.
Here's a good picture of Zoe and Uncle Josh.

Just a nice picture of my mom.

Me, and Papa holding Zoe.

I think that Papa just thought Zoe was the greatest thing. She thought he was pretty interesting to look at too.

It was really fun to have them here for a little while. I'm sure Zoe enjoyed having different people to look at other than me.

Just Pictures

Here are more pictures of Zoe (of course)

I think this one is Kinda funny. She has a skinny little neck and chubby cheeks. But of course I still think she's adorable. (and it's a great view up her nose)

This one is Zoe have a bit of tummy play time. She doesn't enjoy tummy time and I think she was getting ready to cry in this picture.
Here's Zoe enjoying some Mommy time. (it's weird to say, Mommy)

Looking through our pictures I realized that we don't have very many of Ben with Zoe. This is one of the few we have of Ben and Zoe. We need to be better about getting pictures of Zoe with Daddy. (That's funny to say too, Daddy)
This is just a nice picture of me and Ben. Aw, how cute.

Tagged

So I was Tagged by Brenda.

Rules:
1. The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

* What I was doing 10 years ago - - - Probably enjoying the summer break from school.
* 5 things on my 'to do' list today - - - Um....I don't have to do lists right now. The only thing I want to get done is vacuum.
* Things I would do if I were a billionaire - - - Buy a house, buy a new car, tour the world, become an incredibly eccentric woman with blue hair and a faux fur coat.
* 3 of my bad habits - - - procrastination, I have a tendency to repeat myself to Ben all the time ( I think he finds it really annoying), and expecting Ben to know what I'm thinking.
* 5 places I've lived - - - Ramah, Rexburg, Rancho Santa Margarita, and SJC, ok that's only 4 but I've only lived 4 places. I could make up one more, but I won't.
* 5 jobs I've had - - - RA, Receptionist at a nursing home, and Lunch Lady, ok that's only 3 but hey I've had a relatively jobless life.

I'm supposed to tag 5 other people, but I don't think I know 5 people that have blogs. But in the spirit of things and to try to keep it going I tag any one who reads this blog.
Happy Tagging!

Baby Blessing

So we blessed Zoe in Church today. She was actually very good during the blessing. I don't think she cried during the blessing. Ben says she cried right after the amen. Then she was ok.

My mom made her blessing dress. She used the left over fabric from my wedding dress. It was pretty cool.

The sleeves were so big that they were within easy reach of Zoe's mouth and so she kept chewing on them when she got hungry. This is a picture of her chewing on the sleeve. It was really funny.
