Who Knew?

The other day I was cutting up old shirts to use in a quilt that I am making. As I was cutting away, taking off the sleeves, I noticed that none of Ben's old shirts had a seam down the side. WHAT! It totally surprised me. All my old shirts had seams down the sides. Makes sense to me. You take a front and back and sew them together. Hence the seam. But how in the world did they get the shirt shape with out the seam? It's like a tube. It was really crazy. I think I sat there for like 10 minutes looking at the shirt I had cut the sleeves off of. Trying to figure out how in the world it was made. Never figured it out. If any of you have any ideas I would loooove to hear them.

Easter

This was Zoe's first Easter. It's kind of sad to think that in a few weeks I won't be able to post about Zoe's first holiday's any more. I know she will have plenty more firsts; first word, first steps, but no more first Christmases and first halloweens. It's weird to think that in 3 weeks she will be 1 year old. 

We went to Ben's parents house for an Easter Egg hunt and for some yummy dinner. Zoe wasn't so into the whole Easter Egg hunt. Could be that she had no idea what was going on. :)  She did have fun crawling around in the back yard playing with any body that would stop and play. I got to have the joy of finding all of her eggs and collecting her candy (which she didn't get to eat, I think she got candy just for me and Ben).

Here she is busily rumaging through her Easter basket.
And her favorite part of the day was playing in the toy car at Grandma's house. She loves to crawl in and out of it, stand up on the seat, honk the horn, and climb in through the window.

P.S. We don't have any pictures of her in her Easter Dress because 1. In the morning our camera was out of batteries and 2. After church before we could get any pictures of her in her dress she managed to find a pile of dog poo.......she can only army crawl. Need I say more?
