San Diego Wild Animal Park

While we were in California We went to the Wild Animal Park. We picked the hottest day to go to the Park. Zoe loved seeing the giraffe's because "Our zoo doesn't have a giraffe but Grandma's zoo does". I don't have very many pictures of Arleigh because she was cranky and slept most of the time.

Here's the girls ready to go into the park. They thought their hats were the coolest things ever.

Here's Zoe getting to be in a giant nest with cousins and Uncle Justin.We rode the little tram around the wild animal park. Poor kids look so hot.

Having a picnic lunch. Arleigh was throwing a fit at this point. She fell asleep shortly after lunch.

There was a little splash park that Zoe played at during lunch. She looks a lot cooler.Zoe and her cousin were so cute, they had to sit there and read the map for us. They had a good time together.

They went into an exhibit called Lorikeet Landing. You can go in and feed the Lorikeets some sugary nectar. I didn't go in with them I was with Arleigh. I guess Zoe had a Lorikeet land on her head and started doing a funny little dance to get it off her head.

With Zoe's entrance ticket she got a free ride on the carousal. She got to ride on the cheetah. Very exciting.

It was a lot of fun to go to the Park. But I decided that next time we want to do something like this we are going to go in January or Febuary or sometime when it's not so hot in California!
