We went camping in Yellowstone this summer and these are a lot of the pictures that we took.
We went through Grand Teton National Park. We had to stop and let Zoe run around for a minute and feed Arleigh.

Eating meals was a bit of a challenge for Zoe. There was so much to do and see and play with that she didn't want to sit down to eat. I don't think she ate enough to feed a bird. And it was quite a challenge for us to feed Arleigh since she won't drink cool or even luke warm formula. It has to be hot. And where we were camping didn't have any hook ups, and the bath rooms didn't even have hot water. During the day we kept a bottle of water in the window of our van (that kept it nice and warm) and at night we boiled water right before bed and put it in a metal thermos and put it in a towel and put it in a little cooler. And by 4 in the morning it started to cool off but it was still warm enough for her to drink. I think we were pretty clever.

After Old Faithful we stopped for a picnic lunch. We were going to do hot dogs but we forgot the propane to heat up our propane stove. So we had sandwiches. Again Zoe enjoyed getting out of the car and played around a bit.

While we were pic-nicking I forgot that we had a trailer hitch on our van. I ran right into it and caused a giant goose egg to form on my leg. It hurt really, really, really bad.

While in Yellowstone we saw several buffalos, several elk, several bucks and several pelicans. I don't have any pictures of the bucks or pelicans, but we did get a few good ones of the buffalo and elk.

We stopped at the Yellowstone Falls. They are so beautiful and awesome.

This is how Arleigh enjoyed the falls. She is heavy!

Surprisingly Arleigh slept really good camping. I was worried that she would be to cold, but I shouldn't have worried. She had the best sleep camping. She slept till 6 most mornings. And up to that point she was waking up at 2 or 3. Yay! for camping!!

The second day camping Zoe was laying next to me in bed and Ben was trying to get her to move so we could change her clothes and I could get up. She threw a fit, threw her head back and "CRACK" went my nose. We're pretty sure she broke it. I was swollen and a little black and blue, but not as bad as everyone was expecting. It hurt way worse than when I hit my leg on the trailer hitch. She hung out with Daddy the rest of the day so I could lay down and try to get rid of the head ache that came with the cracked nose. They hung out in the hammock for a lot of that time. Needless to say, I have been very careful of where her head is at all times.

All dirty and ready to go home.

On the way home we stopped at a park and had the hot dog lunch that we couldn't do earlier in the week. And since we were headed home we had all the necessary components to cook the hot dogs.
It was a ton of fun seeing Ben's family and all the animals in the park. But I don't think that I will be camping with a 4 month old again.
