Temples

Zoe is finally sleeping so I thought I would put some of our pictures on the blog. These ones are of the 4 temples that we visited.

This is the Saint George Temple. It was pretty cool looking because there was a thunderstorm in Saint George the day we got there. So there are all these dark clouds behind the temple. I learned something new and cool about the Saint George Temple. When it was built Brigham Young told the people that the spire wasn't right and that they needed to go back and make it taller. And a few months later he died and so the people in Saint George didn't do anything to the spire. And a few months after his death a bolt of lightening hit the spire and burnt it. The only thing damaged was the spire, and so the people had to go back and redo it. They made it taller the second time. I just thought that was a cool story, and it shows that we should listen to our prophets and follow their counsel. Even if we don't know the reasons why it is still important to listen.

This is me and Zoe at the Idaho Falls Temple. This is where Ben and I got married.

Here's Ben and Zoe at the Idaho Falls Temple. But you can't see the temple. I just liked the picture.

Here is the Rexburg Temple.

Here is the Salt Lake Temple. We were there at night and the wind was blowing really bad. But we still got some good pictures of it.

I think the temples are beautiful. How blessed Ben and I are to have been married in one of the Temples and to have one so close to us.

Vacation!

I just want to let everyone know that we did not drop off the face of the planet. We have been on vacation for the last two weeks. We drove to Wyoming, then Idaho, then home. We traveled a total of about 2800 miles. Poor Zoe! But she did really good. She slept most of the time in the car.

Here's my count down (or up) of some of the things we saw and did.

We saw 1 moose
2 grandma's (Great Grandma Dymple, and Nana (my mom))
ate at 3 Wingers
saw 4 temples, and 4 cemetaries
5 Aunties
went through 6 states
Slept 7 different places
Caught 8 fish
Saw 9 cousins
And
stopped at 10 gas stations (we think).

As well as riding a bullet bike, 4-wheeler, starting a brush fire, and almost picking up a hitch-hiker, on accident.

We had a lot of fun and over the next few days I will try and post some of our pictures from the trip.

Doctor

Today we took poor Zoe to the Doctor for her 2 month well baby visit. She also got a ton of vaccines today. 2 shots in one leg and one in the other. She did not like it. Scream Scream Scream. Poor baby. But the upside...she weighs 10 lbs 10 ozs. And she was 22 3/4 inches long. Yay! She's getting so big and chubby. Luckily she slept most of the day...or not so lucky if she doesn't sleep tonight.

Bored

So I was sitting here bored thinking...What should I do. And so I decided to put pictures on the blog. But we haven't done anything interesting lately. So I thought I would go through our pictures and find ones that I liked.

The first two are of the house we are renting from Ben's parents. Yay! for parents.

The ones of Ben and myself are older pictures, but I like them.

Here is Ben and Zoe hanging out on our bed. Zoe is asleep. Of course she's asleep, she's on our bed.

This is currently my favorite picture of Zoe. Doesn't she look incredibly confused?
